The EU chemical regulation No. 1907/2006 (REACH) became effective on June 1, 2007.
REACH is the acronym for the
of CHemicals.
As an EU Directive, REACH is equally and directly applicable in all member states. REACH has fundamentally harmonized and simplified previous chemicals legislation.
REACH applies to manufacturers or importers which manufacture or import substances on their own and/or in preparations and in quantities of more than one tonne per annum in the European Union.
As a producer of chemicals and preparations, we are in constant dialog with industry and trade associations to ensure we remain permanently up-to-date with respect to implementation of the REACH regulation.
We also work closely with our customers and suppliers to assure our compliance with legal requirements.
